Abstract

Construction of I-86/Route 15 Interchange was a three-phase project in which all phases were awarded to Cold Spring Construction (D259418, D259507, and D259816). The entirety of the project involved construction of 5 new bridges over the Cohocton River, creating a newly developed interchange at I-86 and Route 15. There was also realignment of Gang Mills Creek, in which we created a 3.9 acre wetland mitigation. In this process, two wooded islands at the junction of the Tioga, Cohocton, and Chemung Rivers were removed.
